A refreshing summer salad combining strawberries, mozzarella, and basil, drizzled with balsamic glaze.
Ingredients

- 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large serving platter, alternate layers of sliced strawberries and mozzarella cheese.
- Tuck fresh basil leaves in between the layers.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze and olive oil evenly over the strawberries and mozzarella.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes to enhance the flavors.
Notes
- For added sweetness, consider drizzling a little honey over the top before serving.
- Substitute peaches or nectarines for strawberries for a delicious twist on the classic Caprese.
