A delicious and creamy crockpot dish featuring tender chicken, garlic, and Parmesan cheese served with pasta.

- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 12 ounces penne pasta
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Place the seasoned chicken in the crockpot.
- Pour the chicken broth over the chicken. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot.
- Add the cream cheese and grated Parmesan cheese to the crockpot. Stir until the cheeses are melted and well combined.
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and add the cooked pasta and frozen peas to the crockpot. Stir everything together until well mixed.
- Cover and cook on low for an additional 15-20 minutes to heat through.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute half of the cream cheese with Greek yogurt.
- Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra vegetables and flavor.
