Description
A delicious and comforting Big Mac Casserole that combines all the flavors of a classic Big Mac in a hearty dish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup pickles, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Remove from heat and mix in the chopped pickles.
- In a separate bowl, combine the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard. Stir until well blended.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, sealing any seams.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly over the dough, then layer the cheese mixture on top. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds over the cheese layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let it cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a healthier version, substitute ground turkey for the beef.
- Add chopped lettuce and tomatoes on top after baking for a fresh crunch.
- For a spicier kick, mix in some diced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce into the beef mixture.
