- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup fresh blueberries (or frozen, thawed and drained)
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the vanilla extract and eggs to the butter mixture, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Gently fold in the blueberries and white chocolate chips, being careful not to crush the blueberries.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
- For a chewier cookie, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking.
- You can substitute the blueberries with raspberries or chopped strawberries for a different flavor.
- For added texture, consider mixing in 1/2 cup of chopped nuts like walnuts or pecans.
