Ingredients

  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, toss steak cubes with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Add the seasoned steak to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes without stirring to get a good sear.
  4. Flip the steak bites and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until desired doneness is reached.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low and add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir until the butter is melted and the garlic is fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and toss the steak bites in the garlic butter sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce to the garlic butter.
