Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 ounces chipped beef, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (for coating)
  • Crackers or vegetable sticks (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped chipped beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  2. Shape the mixture into a ball or log shape using your hands.
  3. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  4. Once chilled, remove the cheese ball from the wrap and roll it in the chopped nuts until fully coated.
  5. Place the cheese ball on a serving platter and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve with crackers or vegetable sticks.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper or a few dashes of hot sauce to the cheese mixture.
  • Substitute the chipped beef with diced ham or smoked salmon for a different flavor profile.
