- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.

- For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for the heavy cream.
