- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pre-made 9-inch pie crust
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, mayonnaise, and eggs. Whisk until smooth.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, red bell pepper, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
- Fold in the cooked shrimp until evenly distributed.
- Pour the shrimp mixture into the pre-made pie crust, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a teaspoon of hot sauce to the filling.
- Substitute crab meat or lobster for shrimp for a different seafood flavor.
