- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Add the chicken pieces to the skillet, season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine, ensuring the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for the heavy cream and use whole wheat pasta.
