Ingredients

  • 2 cups cheese tortellini
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound), diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and gently toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
