Description
A delicious and juicy grilled chicken burger recipe that is easy to make and perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and your favorite condiments for serving
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the patties are golden brown.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns in a separate skillet or under the broiler until golden.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a chicken patty on each bun and topping with lettuce, tomato, and your favorite condiments. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For added flavor, try mixing in some chopped jalapeños or shredded cheese into the chicken mixture before forming the patties.
- If you prefer grilling, these patties can be cooked on a preheated grill over medium heat for about 5-6 minutes per side.
