Honey Cajun Butter Salmon: A Flavorful Dinner Delight!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Lemon wedges for serving
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice until well combined.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the honey Cajun butter mixture generously over each fillet.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
- Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
- For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the butter mixture.
- Serve the salmon over a bed of rice or quinoa for a complete meal, or pair it with steamed vegetables for a lighter option.
