- 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, salt, and lemon juice until well combined.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the honey glaze generously over the top of each fillet.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
- For an extra caramelized finish, switch the oven to broil for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
- Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the glaze.
- Serve the salmon over a bed of steamed rice or quinoa for a complete meal.
