Delicious Honey Peach Cream Cheese Cupcakes that combine the sweetness of honey and peaches with a creamy filling.

- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup fresh peaches, peeled and diced
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Mix in the sour cream until fully combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the diced peaches.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the honey, lemon juice, and cinnamon, mixing until well combined.
- Fill each cupcake liner about halfway with the batter, then add a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on top, followed by more batter to fill the liners about ¾ full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute half of the butter with unsweetened applesauce.
- You can also add a crumble topping made from oats, brown sugar, and butter for added texture.
