Description

A delicious and easy recipe for Orange Glazed Salmon that will delight your tastebuds with its sweet and tangy flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush the orange glaze generously over the top of each fillet.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
  6. During the last 2 minutes of baking, switch the oven to broil to caramelize the glaze slightly, watching closely to prevent burning.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the glaze.
  • Serve the salmon over a bed of steamed rice or quinoa, and pair it with sautéed vegetables for a complete meal.
