Description
A delicious and easy recipe for Orange Glazed Salmon that will delight your tastebuds with its sweet and tangy flavors.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush the orange glaze generously over the top of each fillet.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon fillets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
- During the last 2 minutes of baking, switch the oven to broil to caramelize the glaze slightly, watching closely to prevent burning.
- Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the glaze.
- Serve the salmon over a bed of steamed rice or quinoa, and pair it with sautéed vegetables for a complete meal.
