- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed

- 1 1/2 cups crushed Oreo cookies (about 10–12 cookies)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden but the centers are still soft.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a fun twist, try adding a teaspoon of peppermint extract for a minty flavor.
- Substitute half of the chocolate chips with white chocolate chips for a different taste.
- To make the cookies even softer, consider chilling the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
