Ingredients

  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce passionfruit puree
  • 1 ounce raspberry syrup
  • 1 egg white (optional for froth)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh raspberries and lime slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, fresh lime juice, passionfruit puree, raspberry syrup, and egg white (if using).
  2. Dry shake (without ice) for about 15 seconds to emulsify the egg white and create froth.
  3. Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake vigorously for another 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
  4. Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or rocks glass.
  5. Garnish with fresh raspberries and a slice of lime.

Notes

  • To make raspberry syrup, combine 1 cup of fresh or frozen raspberries, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of water in a saucepan. Simmer until the raspberries break down, then strain and cool.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, replace tequila with sparkling water and increase the passionfruit puree for a refreshing mocktail.
