- 2 ounces vodka
- 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 1 ounce simple syrup (1:1 ratio of sugar to water)
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and fresh raspberries for garnish
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the fresh raspberries until they are well crushed.
- Add the vodka, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with lemon slices and a few fresh raspberries on top.
Notes
- For a sweeter drink, increase the amount of simple syrup to 1 ½ ounces.
- Substitute the vodka with gin for a different flavor profile, or use flavored vodka for an extra twist.
