A refreshing and delightful Strawberry Matcha Latte that combines the sweetness of strawberries with the earthy flavor of matcha.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
- 1/2 cup water
- Ice cubes (optional)
- Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries and honey (or maple syrup). Blend until smooth. If you prefer a chunkier texture, pulse a few times instead of blending completely.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the matcha powder and water until smooth and fully combined. You can use a matcha whisk or a regular whisk.
- In a glass, layer the strawberry puree at the bottom.
- If using ice, add a few ice cubes on top of the strawberry layer.
- Slowly pour the milk over the strawberry layer.
- Finally, gently pour the prepared matcha on top of the milk. You can use a spoon to help layer it if desired.
- For a finishing touch, add whipped cream on top if you like, and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, use whole milk or a full-fat non-dairy milk.
- You can also substitute the strawberries with other berries like raspberries or blueberries for a different flavor.
