- 2 cups egg noodles
- 2 (5-ounce) cans tuna in water, drained
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup crushed potato chips (for topping)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, frozen peas, sour cream, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Add the cooked egg noodles to the mixture and stir gently until everything is evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the crushed potato chips over the top of the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
- For a healthier option, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream and use whole wheat noodles.
- Add diced bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor and nutrition.
