Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the quartered waffles evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Layer the shredded chicken over the waffles, followed by the shredded cheddar cheese.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the chicken and waffles in the baking dish, ensuring everything is well soaked.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
