Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2–3 Thai bird’s eye chilies, finely chopped (adjust for spice preference)

- Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Mix well and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Remove the skillet from heat and fold in the fresh Thai basil leaves until just wilted.
- Serve the Thai basil chicken over cooked jasmine rice, garnished with sliced cucumber and lime wedges.
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, substitute ground chicken with crumbled tofu or tempeh.
- Add bell peppers or snap peas for extra vegetables and color.
- Adjust the amount of chilies based on your heat preference.
