Description

A delicious and savory dish featuring tender beef bites and roasted baby potatoes, all coated in a rich garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the halved baby potatoes with 2 tablespoons of melted butter, minced garlic, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the potatoes are well coated.
  3. Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  4. While the potatoes are roasting, season the beef cubes with salt and pepper.
  5. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the beef cubes in a single layer and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  6. Once the potatoes have roasted for 20 minutes, remove them from the oven and add the seared beef cubes to the baking sheet.
  7. Return the baking sheet to the oven and roast for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness and the potatoes are tender.
  8. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
  • You can substitute the beef with chicken or shrimp for a different protein option.
