Description

A delicious and moist banana bread infused with creamy peanut butter and chunks of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, perfect for a sweet treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and stir until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the baking soda, salt, and flour.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. For best flavor, let the bread sit for a few hours or overnight before slicing.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try adding a teaspoon of cinnamon to the dry ingredients.
  • You can substitute half of the all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour for added nutrition.
