- Start by preparing your ingredients. Slice the beef into thin strips against the grain and chop vegetables into uniform sizes. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine the ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, chili flakes, and cornstarch. Whisk until smooth.
- Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add sliced beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned and just cooked through. Remove from pan.
- In the same pan, add more oil if needed and stir-fry prepped vegetables for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Return beef to the pan and pour sauce over the mixture. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
