  • 1/4 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it with cooking spray or olive oil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the steamed and chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined.
  3. Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the balls are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
