Ingredients

  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup carrots julienned
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions chopped (for garnish)

Method

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the broccoli, bell pepper, and carrots to the skillet. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
