  • 1 banana sliced

  • 1 cup almond milk or any milk of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt for creaminess and protein
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes optional, for a thicker smoothie

Method
 

  1. In a blender, combine the blueberries, banana, spinach (if using), almond milk, honey or maple syrup, Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract.
  2. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds.
  3. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, add a few ice cubes and blend again until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup.
  5. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
