Preheat your broiler on high. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
In a small bowl, whisk together the miso paste, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic until smooth.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Spread the miso mixture evenly over the top of each fillet.
Broil the salmon for 6-8 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a minute. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
