Preparation Steps
- Step 1: Prepare the Cheese. Start by cutting fresh mozzarella into one-inch cubes and set them aside on a plate. Keep the cheese chilled until you're ready to wrap.
- Step 2: Wrap the Cheese. Crumble cooked bacon into small bits. Wrap each mozzarella cube completely in bacon.
- Step 3: Mix the Chicken Filling. Combine ground chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and half of the buffalo sauce in a large bowl. Mix well.
- Step 4: Form the Bombs. Flatten a handful of chicken mixture in your palm, place the bacon-wrapped mozzarella in the center, and seal it completely.
- Step 5: Coat the Bombs. Roll each bomb in flour, dip into beaten eggs, then roll in breadcrumbs.
- Step 6: Cook the Bombs. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry bombs in batches for 5–6 minutes until golden brown.
- Step 7: Finish & Serve. Remove bombs from oil, drain, and drizzle with remaining buffalo sauce. Serve hot.
