Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Brown the meat by cooking ground beef and Italian sausage in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  2. Sauté diced onions and minced garlic for 3-4 minutes until onions are translucent.
  3. Incorporate tomato paste, dried basil, oregano, and bay leaf; cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add diced tomatoes and chicken stock, bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add broken lasagna noodles and simmer for another 10-12 minutes until tender.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and mozzarella cheese, allowing them to melt smoothly.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with extra mozzarella cheese.
