  • 1 package Cheese Tortellini Fresh or refrigerated varieties recommended
For the Steak
  • 1 pound Steak (Sirloin or Ribeye) Choose based on preference
For the Seasoning
  • Salt Adjust to taste
  • Black Pepper Adjust to taste
  • Garlic Powder Adjust to taste
  • Smoked Paprika Adjust to taste
For the Creamy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil For searing steak
  • 4 tbsp Butter Forms creamy sauce base
  • 5 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream For velvety sauce
  • 3/4 cup Whole Milk Balances cream richness
  • 1 1/4 cups Parmesan Cheese Shredded
For Garnishing
  • Chopped Parsley Optional
  • Red Pepper Flakes Optional
  • Cracked Black Pepper Optional

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook fresh cheese tortellini for 3-5 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Sear for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden-brown. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour heavy cream and whole milk into the skillet, stirring continuously. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Whisk in shredded Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Slice the rested steak into pieces and return it along with the drained tortellini to the skillet. Toss gently in the creamy sauce for 2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley, cracked black pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot.
