- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease or line a mini muffin tin.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough, cut each triangle in half, and press them into the muffin cups.
- Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese filling into each dough cup, followed by 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
- If using, sprinkle chopped pecans or orange zest on top.
- Bake the filled muffin tin in the preheated oven for 11-13 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly for about 5 minutes before removing from the tin and serving warm.
