  • medium skillet
  • baking dish

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add 300g of ziti pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add 2 cups of bite-sized broccoli florets to the pot. Drain the mixture well and set aside to let it cool slightly.
  2. In a medium skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant and golden. Remove from heat.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained ziti and broccoli with the sautéed garlic and 2 cups of Alfredo sauce. Stir until evenly coated. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top. This cheesy layer will melt into a bubbly crust.
  5. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  6. Once baked, let sit for a few minutes to set. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired. Serve warm.
