Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Coat lightly with flour.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for about 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. Melt butter in the same skillet. Sauté mushrooms and onion for 4-5 minutes until soft.
  4. Stir in mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic. Cook for an additional minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, scrape the skillet, and return the chicken. Simmer gently for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Stir in sour cream, heating through but do not boil. Serve immediately over egg noodles, rice, or gluten-free alternatives.
