Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch pieces, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and dredge in flour.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through, about 3 minutes per side.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add butter, mushrooms, and onions. Sauté until cooked, about 6-8 minutes.
  4. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic. Cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  5. Add chicken broth and return chicken to the pan. Simmer gently for 2 minutes while stirring occasionally.
  6. Lower heat and mix in sour cream, adjusting seasoning with salt and pepper. Heat through without boiling.
