Method

Step-by-step Instructions
  1. Prepare Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add fettuccine or linguine and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.
  2. Cook Salmon: Season salmon with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add salmon and sauté for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Flake into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Make Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic over medium heat for 30 seconds. Add spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes until wilted. Stir in cream and Parmesan until cheese melts.
  4. Combine: Remove from heat, add lemon zest, remaining lemon juice, and red pepper flakes if using. Fold in cooked pasta and flaked salmon, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  5. Serve: Plate the creamy pasta and garnish with chopped parsley. Enjoy!
