Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone inside if available.
  2. Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface into a 12-inch circle and transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza peel.
  3. Combine ricotta cheese with salt and pepper in a bowl until smooth. Spread it over the dough, leaving a half-inch border.
  4. Tear fresh mozzarella into pieces and spread evenly over ricotta layer.
  5. Layer prosciutto slices over the mozzarella evenly.
  6. Bake pizza for 12-15 minutes in the preheated oven until the crust is golden brown and cheeses are bubbling.
  7. Remove from oven and drizzle with hot honey while still warm.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice into portions, and serve hot.
