  • 3 cups chicken broth Substitute with vegetable broth for vegetarian
  • 1 package Mrs. T's Cheddar Pierogies Frozen, no need to thaw
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Add more for topping
  • 1 pound kielbasa Use turkey kielbasa for a leaner option
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 3 stalks green onions Optional garnish

  • 1 cup cream cheese Reduced-fat if desired

Preparation Steps
  1. In a 4-6 quart crockpot, pour in 3 cups of chicken broth. Add the frozen Mrs. T's Cheddar Pierogies and sliced kielbasa, then gently stir the mixture to combine. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  2. Cover the crockpot with its lid and set it to cook on high for 3-4 hours, or on low for 6 hours.
  3. About 30 minutes before the cooking time is up, warm the remaining chicken broth over low heat. Add the cream cheese and stir until smooth.
  4. Pour the melted cream cheese mixture into the crockpot and mix everything together.
  5. Sprinkle an additional 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top and cook for another 30 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, offering optional garnishes of chopped green onions, salt, and pepper.
