Preparation Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Warm milk and melt butter in a saucepan. Pour warm milk and melted butter into dry ingredients, add eggs, and stir until dough forms.
  3. Knead dough for 8-10 minutes until smooth. Let it rise covered in a greased bowl for 1-2 hours.
  4. Mix together apple butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, and softened butter in a separate bowl until smooth.
  5. Roll dough into a rectangle and spread apple butter filling evenly. Roll it tightly and cut into 12 pieces.
  6. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let them rise for 30-45 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. While baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze. Drizzle on rolls after cooling for 10 minutes.
