- Marinate the chicken by combining chicken breast, baking soda, salt, fresh orange juice, soy sauce, black pepper, cornstarch, minced garlic, and minced ginger in a large bowl. Let sit for at least 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together fresh orange juice, soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili garlic sauce (if using), cornstarch, orange zest, minced garlic, minced ginger, red chili flakes, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add marinated chicken, and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 5-6 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
- Pour the prepared orange sauce over the cooked chicken. Stir gently to coat and cook uncovered for an additional 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve over cooked rice and alongside steamed broccoli.
