  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Use pure vanilla for best results.
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip Can substitute with homemade whipped cream.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine crushed pretzels, chopped pecans, and brown sugar. Pour in melted butter and mix until coated.
  3. Spread the pretzel mixture on the baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden, then cool completely.
  4. In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  5. Gently fold Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Just before serving, fold in sliced strawberries and half of the pretzel crunch.
  7. Transfer to a serving bowl and top with the remaining pretzel crunch before serving.
