  • 2 slices pear for garnish.
  • 2 sprigs fresh sage for garnish.

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes.

  3. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a jar and cool completely.
  4. In a tall glass filled with ice, mix bourbon, pear juice, ginger ale, and 1 tablespoon of ginger sage syrup. Stir gently.
  5. Garnish with a slice of pear and a sprig of sage. Serve immediately.
