Preparation Steps
- In a medium saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes.
- Add frozen ginger and fresh sage, remove from heat, and let sit for 5-10 minutes to infuse.

- In a tall glass filled with ice, mix bourbon, pear juice, ginger ale, and 1 tablespoon of ginger sage syrup. Stir gently.
