  • 2 cups uncooked pasta penne or fettuccine
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  3. Add the chicken pieces to the skillet, season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine, ensuring the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
