  • 1 package Peep Brand Easter Marshmallows Or large flavored marshmallows
For Decorative Finish
  • 1/4 cup Easter Sprinkles Optional

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Cream the butters and sugars together on medium-high speed for about 5 minutes until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  2. Incorporate eggs one at a time and mix well after each addition. Add vanilla and mix until smooth.
  3. Combine the dry ingredients in a separate bowl and gradually add to the wet ingredients in the mixer.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles until just combined.
  5. Form dough balls, flatten, and wrap around a Peep for the filling.
  6. Chill the dough balls in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  7. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  8. Bake spaced cookies for 14-16 minutes until lightly golden brown.
  9. Cool the cookies on the tray for 20-30 minutes to allow the filling to set.
