Step‑by‑Step Instructions
- Begin by melting 2 tablespoons of butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes and allow the mixture to simmer gently for about 5 minutes.
- Take two slices of thick white bread and brush one side of each slice with the infused butter.
- In a non-stick skillet, place one slice of bread butter-side down over medium heat. Layer generously with crumbled goat cheese, followed by shredded white cheddar or mozzarella.
- Cover the skillet and cook your sandwich for 5–7 minutes, or until the bottom slice of bread is golden brown and crispy.
- Once both sides of the sandwich are golden brown and the cheese is perfectly gooey, remove it from the skillet and place it on a cutting board.
