Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce tomato, and your favorite condiments for serving

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the patties are golden brown.
  4. While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns in a separate skillet or under the broiler until golden.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a chicken patty on each bun and topping with lettuce, tomato, and your favorite condiments. Serve immediately.
