Preparation
  1. Start by creating a cinnamon-sugar mixture on a small plate by combining equal parts coarse sugar and granulated sugar with ground cinnamon and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Mix well.
  2. Dip the rim of your glass into pomegranate juice until lightly coated, then dip it into the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat.
  3. Fill the rimmed glass with ice cubes tightly to keep your cocktail chilled.
  4. In a cocktail shaker, combine pumpkin butter, apple cider, tequila, and orange liqueur. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  5. Strain the mixture from the shaker into your prepared glass over the ice.
  6. Top with ginger beer based on your preference for fizziness.
  7. Garnish with thin apple slices and a cinnamon stick.
