Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), prepare the springform pan.
  2. Prepare the strawberry swirl by mixing fresh strawberry puree, sugar, and lemon juice.
  3. Mix the cheesecake filling by beating cream cheese, then adding sugar, eggs, sour cream, and cocoa powder.
  4. Pour half of the cheesecake filling into the crust, swirl in the strawberry mixture and add the rest of the cheesecake filling.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the edges are set and the center has a slight jiggle.
  6. Cool in the oven for 1 hour with the door ajar.
  7. Remove from the oven and cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  8. Serve and optionally garnish with additional strawberry puree or fresh strawberries.
