While the beef is cooking, steam the broccoli florets until bright green and tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Once the beef is cooked, add the steamed broccoli to the skillet. Pour the honey-soy mixture over the beef and broccoli, stirring to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and well-coated.
